Our Commitment to Your Privacy
Tabby D ("we", "our", or "the app") is a video downloader for Android developed by Evolvo Softs. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use Tabby D, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.
We do not require you to create an account. We do not store your video links on any server we operate. Files you download stay on your device.
What Data We Handle
2.1 — Collected automatically
Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics)
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the app. This may include device type, OS version, language, app version, session duration, screen views and feature usage events (e.g. download started, format selected), and general geographic region (country/region — not precise location). Firebase Analytics does not collect the URLs you paste or the content of files you download.
Advertising data (Google AdMob)
Tabby D displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address (used to infer approximate location for ad targeting), and app interaction data used to personalize and measure ads.
You can reset or opt out of personalized ads at any time via Android Settings → Google → Ads. For more information see policies.google.com/privacy.
2.2 — Information you provide
Recent searches — The last 20 URLs you paste into the app are saved locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party. You can clear this list at any time from Settings → Downloads → Clear History.
2.3 — What we do NOT collect
- ✕Your name, email address, or any account credentials
- ✕The URLs you download — not recorded or stored on any server we control
- ✕The video files you download — never accessed, uploaded, or transmitted

When you initiate a download, the app communicates directly with the third-party platform (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) to retrieve the video. Tabby D acts as a local client — we do not proxy or store that traffic on any server we operate. You are subject to the privacy policy of the platform you download from.

We do not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or precise location.
How Long Data Is Kept

✓Recent searches — Stored locally on your device. Cleared when you clear app data or uninstall. You can also clear manually via Settings → Downloads → Clear History.

✓Downloaded files — Stored in the app's private storage (
filesDir/downloads/). Deleted on uninstall or via the auto-delete feature. Individual files can be removed from the My Files screen. -
✓Analytics data — Retained by Google per standard Firebase Analytics settings (default: 2 months for user-level data, 14 months for event data). You can request deletion via Google's data controls.
Users Under 13
Tabby D is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below and we will delete it promptly.
Privacy Rights
Depending on your country or region, you may have the right to:

- ✓Opt out of personalized advertising via Android Settings → Google → Ads
- ✓Withdraw consent for analytics collection via Android Settings → Google → Manage your Google Account

How We Protect Your Data
We take reasonable technical measures to protect information within our control. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. Downloads and files on your device are protected by Android's standard app sandboxing and your device's own security settings.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice.
